The Role
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong coding skills to join our team in County Durham, UK. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for both building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our innovative no-code platform, which is now in its fourth generation, as well as coding the application itself.
Our team culture is positive, inclusive, and supportive, and you will report directly to our CTO. You will be working with a talented and driven team of developers, designers, and consultants to deliver cutting-edge solutions that solve complex problems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure that supports our no-code platform
- Develop and maintain the code for our application in React.js and Node.js
- Collaborate with developers to ensure that the infrastructure and application code are optimised for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of our applications
- Troubleshoot issues in production environments and provide timely solutions
- Monitor and maintain the security and compliance of our systems
- Continuously evaluate and improve the performance and efficiency of our infrastructure and application code
Requirements:
- Strong experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on React.js and Node.js
- Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, with strong coding skills
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong understanding of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with build automation such as TeamCity or Azure DevOps
- Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic and Dynatrace
- Familiarity with security and compliance best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
